Cover Love: Matched by Ally Condie

Such a pretty, simple cover.  Again (aren't you sick of me saying this by now?) I usually dislike girl-in-dress covers.  But this one does it differently.  It's nicely color-coordinated, for starters.  And the pose, sitting in a bubble, is a great metaphor for how trapped the main character feels in the proscriptions of her society.  There isn't a ton going on otherwise.  Simple lime green title (with cool futuristic font!), gray background, a few nice details on the other text.  Proves you don't have to throw a bunch of glitter at a cover to make it sparkle.  Or something like that.

So, my friend showed me this, and it will be today's cover.  Or covers!  Someone mashed up a bunch of Youtube videos, all of people playing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know."  While this song usually depresses me terribly, this is such a clever idea that I must share.
