Feature & Follow: Carmen of Book Me

Q: Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

A:  Probably Twilight.  I actually love the covers and even the titles. I think the symbolism is great. They're simple, clean, and pretty to look at. I'm just not a huge fan of the books. Bella makes me want to get all strangly, Edward is a possessive creeper, and they're just not my thing.  I don't really go for super intense romance.

All follows loved and appreciated!  I can't wait to meet everyone!
I'll stop by your blog as soon as I can!
Just keep in mind that I'm going to a Sox game today.
So it might take me a little while.
Go Sox!

  1. I have to agree with you here - the Twilight series books have simple and clean covers that I quite like. However, their plot is another matter haha. I'm one of your new followers :)

    1. Ha, yeah, I'm not a huge Twilight fan for multiple reasons, but their covers do everything I think covers should do. Nice to meet you! Love your blog. Following back.

  2. I loved the spooky covers and titles of Twilight, but I hated the actually story (mostly characters though). Sorry, Fans! Old Follower.

    1. I actually liked some of the side characters, like Alice. I just didn't like the mains.

  3. Love that book cover too - excellent choice.

  4. Great choice! And thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such thoughtful comments. I love reading them. Keep doing it!

    1. Any time! I adore your blog and look forward to your reviews. (:

  5. The only good thing about that series Is Jacob Black

  6. I have to say that I loved this story (and read it as a teen myself when it first came out). I still enjoy the story even with the creep factors and all - however, I've read so much better ones over the years that I can't say it's my favorite, just a memorable good read. :)
