Musing: Saying goodbye to Sarcasm & Lemons

musing

It's with a heavy heart that I pen my very last Sarcasm & Lemons post.  I've had so much fun over the last four year.  Part of me can't even believe that I'm at this point in my life.  I've made so many good friends, read so many books, written so many words. I know S&L wasn't the most popular of blogs, but I always relished every single comment that I got.  Knowing that even if I showed one person a book they might not have seen or had one connection with someone over a book we both loved, it was worth it.

Alas, life is busy and grad school is eating my soul.  I thought I had more time to dedicate to the blog, but lately I've been pushing back reviews, setting aside books, and just not having as much fun with the site as I used to.  Maybe there will be a day when I come back and start posting again.  I just can't handle it right now.

I've really appreciated every day here.  I'll miss you all.  So, I'll leave you with:

Cheers,
C.J.

  1. Aww :( I will definitely miss it, but totally understand. My own blog has been neglected for months due to school, and I'm still undergrad! I hope things slow down for you eventually. I miss chatting/email/tweeting back and forth :)

    2. Well I'm taking a break from school now so I might just be able to update the blog now and then haha. And definitely keep me updated on the progress of your book(s)! :)

    3. I will! First book is getting pretty done, ready to send out to some agents. Second is kind of on the back burner. I have a novella project taking precedence.

Life can get in the way, but you should ALWAYS make time for things you love. You not living if you're not living if you're not doing something you love C:

  10. OMG I just got an email subscription and my stupid app on my phone doesn't load the graphics when I check my email on it so I thought this was TRUE. And then I kept getting your posts and was like wtf? So I went back to find this post, thinking I'd imagined it, and now I see the graphic.

    Well played.
