There are so many things I love about this cover (and hopefully this book, because it sounds amazing).  I'm a huge fan of books made to look like they have objects on them.  I don't know why, exactly; I do love the 3D effect it gives.  Then there's the pastel foreground juxtaposed with the washed-out background.  The pairing keeps the book from being too dark or too Easter egg looking, giving off an air of bittersweet.  The photos are pretty high-contrast and run the risk of being distracting, but the color-block behind the title text offsets it nicely.  Not sure how I feel about the hyper-symmetry, but it's still a win.

I will admit: I still love Linkin Park.  Don't care.  Nostalgia wins.  On the other hand, I was never a huge Adele fan.  Especially not "Rolling in the Deep."  Don't know why, just drove me crazy.  Then Linkin Park covered it and I wanted to hug it a little.
