I can't even explain to you how cool this cover is.  The picture doesn't come close to doing it justice.  If the final cover is like the ARC cover, then it's this amazing fiery orange plastic and some of those white parts are actually transparent, so they show through what's underneath.  Which is pretty damn cool for a book that's supposed to be made of redacted transcripts.  Even if you can't see the fun transparent parts, this is still kickass.  Bright, bold, not too busy.  Marry me, now.  That's gotta be legal somewhere.

with every book cover comes a music cover

I've always liked the Lemonheads, in that hipster way, and sometime last year I was delighted to learn that the cover I kept hearing of "Mrs. Robinson" was theirs.  It's a little funkier than the original Simon & Garfunkle version, with more electric guitar.  (Um, I guess infinitely more?)

  1. I LOVE THIS COVER SO MUCH AHH. Plus photos of the hardcover ARC have been incredibly drool-worthy!

    1. I'm weirdly obsessed with it. The ARC also has this thing inside about how "You are one of the few chosen to receive this classified information before it's official disclosure, etc. etc." that's hysterical.
